Our approach

This site is designed to be readable by as many people as possible: simple text, careful contrast, keyboard navigation, stable layout. This page describes what is in place and what remains to be done.

The site has not yet undergone a full RGAA audit by a third party. We therefore claim no conformance rate: this page describes facts, not a certification.

What is in place

  • Semantic HTML: navigation landmarks (header, nav, main, footer), a logical heading hierarchy, native lists and tables.
  • Text alternatives: every image has a description (alt attribute), decorative images are ignored by screen readers.
  • Keyboard navigation: all links, buttons and menus are keyboard accessible, with a visible focus on both light and dark themes.
  • Touch targets: the main buttons and links measure at least 44 px, in line with WCAG recommendations.
  • Contrast: text aims for an AA ratio on both themes; a dark theme is available.
  • Motion: animations respect the system's "reduce motion" preference (prefers-reduced-motion).
  • Language: each page declares its language (lang attribute) and its language alternatives (hreflang).

Known limitations

  • The translated pages (German, English, Spanish, Italian, Dutch) are more recent and less thoroughly proofread than the French version.
  • Some illustrative photographs do not carry a detailed description of their visual content.
  • The site has not yet been audited against the whole RGAA framework.

Report a problem

If a page gives you trouble (unreadable text, image without a description, menu unusable with the keyboard), write to bonjour@tresorsdecotedor.fr stating which page and what is blocking you.

Every report is read and prioritised. This statement is reassessed with each update of the site.
